Medicine
Ardabil School of Medical Sciences was established in 1993 and began admitting students in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, and Laboratory Sciences. By the end of 1993, the school was restructured to form Ardabil University of Medical Sciences (ArUMS), expanding its academic programs each year.
In 1995, ArUMS academic offerings were provided through the Schools of Medicine, Paramedical Sciences, Health, Nursing, and Midwifery. In early 2006, the School of Health was separated from the School of Medicine and was subsequently promoted to a separate school.
