Imam Khomeini

Imam Khomeini Educational and Treatment Hospital in Ardabil was established in 2005. With the addition of departments and units, including the Trauma Center, a new Emergency Department, Screening, and Radiotherapy, the total area of this facility has now increased to 45,000 square meters. This hospital is considered the largest and most important hospital in Ardabil Province, operating under the supervision of the Ardabil University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. It has a total of 551 approved beds, with 470 of them currently active.

Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ardabil, as the largest subspecialized center for adult general surgery in the province, aims to provide optimal services in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, comprehensive training, and collaboration in research, in accordance with the regulations of Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Utilizing modern facilities, equipment, technologies, and methods within the framework of ethical and Islamic values, the hospital is committed to making effective strides toward improving community health and training dedicated and capable human resources.
