Center for Research on Biosensors

The Biosensor Sciences and Technologies Research Center at Ardabil University of Medical Sciences obtained its preliminary approval based on the decision made in the 279th meeting of the Council for the Development of Medical Sciences Universities on October 31, 2020. The mission of this center is to create a suitable platform for conducting fundamental and applied research in the field of biosensors. In this context, research on the design and construction of various smart biosensors using advanced nanomaterials, as well as facilitating the integration of these biosensors into society and popularizing this technology, are among the primary priorities of this center.

The Biosensor Sciences and Technologies Research Center is a collection of specialized experts in the field of biosensors and related technologies, working to expand knowledge domains, develop innovative methods for early, rapid, and cost-effective diagnosis, and targeted therapies. This center aims to produce knowledge and research in the field of biosensors and to transform cutting-edge science into novel technologies, providing public availability of biosensors to enhance health and promote national and international public health.
