Alavi
Alavi Hospital was founded in 1975 on a 5,500 square meter lot with a built area of 6,725 square meters over two floors, serving as a maternity and private hospital with various departments, including Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, and Urology.
After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Alavi Hospital transitioned from a private facility to a public one. In 1991, with the transfer of the Pediatrics Department to the Ali Asghar Educational and Treatment Center, the Internal Surgery and Neurosurgery Departments began operating. In 1993, following the establishment of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences, Alavi Hospital was converted into an educational and treatment center, engaging in medical training and healthcare services for medical and paramedical students.
In 2002, an MRI building was constructed on the hospital grounds, covering an area of 1,517 square meters, and the MRI machine was installed and commissioned. Specialized clinics and administrative units were relocated to the MRI building.
Additionally, in 2017, a Maternity Block with a built area of 1,200 square meters was inaugurated to expand the hospital's space and administrative sections, enhancing service delivery to the public.
