ARUMS vice-chancellery for student and cultural affairs

The activities directed by the vice-chancellery for student and cultural affairs play an important role in promoting and increasing the students’ scientific and cultural knowledge.

Since one of the main goals of the universities is to realize the potential talents of the people in the society and considering the fact that this issue is tightly related to the students’ lifestyle and social activities, the mission of the vice-chancellery for student and cultural affairs is to provide the students with appropriate welfare facilities; encourage them to comply with the religious beliefs in their individual and social behaviors; improve the quality of cultural, welfare, and counseling services provided to them; encourage students’ participation in the provision of cultural, welfare, counseling, and psychological services; promote physical, mental, and social health of the students; and make more effective use of the modern technology in the provision of cultural, welfare, and counseling services to the students based on the strategic development plans of the institute.

The main priorities of this vice-chancellery are laying the ground for the realization of the students’ talents in physical, mental, spiritual, and intellectual dimensions via lending material aid and spiritual support to the students-led associations and also offering the needed trainings to the students in order to produce capable and effective alumni who are ready to enter the social arena and promote the general level of awareness and accountability in the society.
